Hi, "Clickbank reviews,"

Since the final version of my book was published earlier this summer (2009), I don't plan to update this website very much.

In addition, once this version of the book was published -- with over 150 pages of illustrated details to help users of Branford Magazine -- fewer people had questions.

Cheerfully,
Aisling D'Art

Greg, I did not receive your email until today (August 20th). That's why you received no response.

The book is a compilation of my own notes, and based on my own experiences with multiple WP installations and several hosting services. It covers pretty much everything I know about WP and magazine-style themes.

That said, I do want to hear from readers. That's the only way I'll learn about problems they encounter, so I can (sometimes) address those issues in future editions of the book

If a problem is widespread and urgent enough -- and if I can help solve it -- I'll post an article at this website. But, I'm an artist, not a programmer... I generally refer people to the Mimbo or Branford Magazine creators. They understand this stuff far better than I do.

My book gets people past the usual head-scratching dilemmas. The individual tweaks are beyond my expertise and the contents of my book.

I'm about to post an article about your issues. You are one of three people to encounter this, out of about 500 readers, so -- at this point, anyway -- it's a rare problem and may be related to your server's database.

I've written you about a week ago with no response.
In my attempt, none of the images driven by custom fields display at all, either in IE or Firefox. I've fought with this for over 20 hours. Today I uninstalled everything and started from scratch. Same result. I am incredibly frustrated. Please reply to me.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I'll try to explain the process more clearly here:

In WordPress 2.3, the panel for uploading images is immediately below where you type in your text. (In the screenshot, you can still see the buttons that include "Save" and "Publish.") Just scroll down on your "Write Posts" page and you'll see the section where you add graphics.

That's what's shown in Step 1 on page 35.

When you click on the Browse button, a window will open that shows files on your computer. Navigate through those to find where you've stored graphic images that you want to use on your website.

You can only upload images that you already have on your computer.

After I uploaded my graphic (by clicking "Upload" after selecting one of my graphics in the "Browse" area), my screen looks like Step 2. In my example, I uploaded a sky image that I'd created earlier and called "rainbow-255."

Now, I can use "rainbow-255" anywhere on my website by specifying it (by name) when I want to use it.

I hope this explanation helps you!

Hello I have purchased your book but it has taken a little longer to get things sorted, this is in part because some of the screen shots us use I have been unable to find where the command or information is to get things sorted. I.e Adding Homepage Content Graphics I have no idea where to find the upload information. When you revise the book please think about people like me that don't know where things are and need a lot more hand holding. In the meantime please tell me how to access the tables you show on page 35.
